Splurge is an up-and-coming American rapper from East Arlington, Texas. He began getting noticed in 2018 after his single “BackWoods” received thousands of streams online. Since then, he has made a name for himself with tracks like “Beat By Jeff” and “Intro Part 2.” Splurge was born on August 21, 2001, in Arlington, Texas. He grew up with his mother, younger brother, and older sister. His father was in prison, so his mother had to shoulder the burden of raising three children on her own. Considering its YouTube and SoundCloud credentials, the song has established well over a million streams online. “Beat By Jeff,” his first single to earn a million hits on a single platform, made the rapper took his craft seriously. Released in May 2018, it has garnered 1.4 million plays on SoundCloud and 3.1 million views on YouTube.

His most successful track, to date, is “Intro Part 2.” Released in July, the track has over 6 million streams and counting. Other standout singles include “Free Granny,” “Basic B*tch,” and “2:31 A.M Freestyle.” As his tracks blew up, WorldStarHipHop took notice and featured some of his songs.
