I have searched and not seen this problem in other threads. My wife's phone recently updated (a couple days ago). Today it started a new problem that seems more software than hardware related. When it starts the screen is perfect, then after android starts, within a few minutes the screen will either fade, or create horizontal or vertical lines. Often if you change screens (chrome to background, etc) the pattern of the lines will change. Reboot and it's perfect again for a minute or two.

From my experience with other types of screens lines could be a cable issue or physical problem with the screen, but in those cases the lines are consistent (same color, direction, placement, etc). This seems more software/driver related, but I may be wrong.

Any idea what might have caused this? Any idea what might fix it?
