ORIGIN
Melissa Rauch is an American television actress and comedian. She’s best known for her role on the CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory. Rauch was born to parents, Susan and David on June 23, 1980 in Marlboro, New Jersey. She attended Marlboro High School where she developed an early interest in acting. Rauch completed her BFA degree in acting from Marymount Manhattan College in 2002.

CAREER
In 2005, Rauch got her big break as a comedian with her one-woman show, The Miss Education of Jenna Bush. She picked up an award for outstanding solo performance at the 2005 New York Fringe Festival. Rauch later appeared as a commentator on the VH1 comedy series, Best Week Ever. Other early television appearances include Kim & Kath and True Blood. Rauch was cast as “Bernadette Rosenkowski” on season three of the CBS hit sitcom, The Big Bang Theory. She became a regular starting with season four. Rauch starred as “Hope Annabelle Greggory” in the 2015 comedy-drama film, The Bronze. The film was directed by Bryan Buckley and produced by Stephanie Langhoff for Duplass Brothers Productions.
