In last week’s broadcast, King Yi Heon held his selection to determine his spouse and loads of corruption went on to make sure Ye Hyun Hee (Song Ji Woo) was ultimately chosen. As a result, viewers can look forward to what So Rang will get up to once her thorough plan allows her to enter the palace as the maidservant of Hwa Yoon (Jo Soo Min). Additionally, all eyes are on So Rang to see whether she will be able to go up against Grand Queen Dowager (Cha Mi Kyung) and ultimately be chosen as Yi Heon’s wife to complete a happy ending for the pair.

With Jo Sung Gyun (Yang Dong Geun) and So Rang’s former evil stepmother Seo Woon Jung (Park Sun Young) at the forefront, the threats against the royal family continue unabated. This has led to near-death experiences for both So Rang and Lee Shin Won, as the former is chased to the edge of a cliff and the latter is poisoned when he appears to rescue her. Will King Yi Heon be able to reveal the truth and put a stop to Jo Sung Gyun and Seo Woon Jung’s cruel behavior?
