EMMETT, Idaho (CBS2) — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in Gem County, blocking Idaho Boulevard for two hours Thursday evening.

Idaho State Police say a 68-year-old woman from Letha was driving a 2015 Ford Explorer eastbound on Idaho Boulevard when she lost control of the vehicle, crossed the westbound lane and rolled off the shoulder into the creek.

The woman was not wearing her seatbelt and died from her injuries at the scene.
